I am really leaning towards the minivan option, even though the best deal I can find for 11 days is $550 all in with Budget ($350 for full size). I think the extra $200 for the rental will be well worth it. It's just that I've never really driven a minivan before, so I am not sure I'll like it. I know the kids will love it and it'll make our vacation more fun - esp. if we get a dvd player included. Usually with Fastbreak you get a better pick of cars, right? We'll be arriving around 7-8pm on a Friday night, so I fear we'll get stuck with some crappy leftovers, but if TPA is as well-stocked as people say, maybe I have nothing to worry about?
I am going to keep checking for deals right up until we leave. It's my mission to get the biggest car for the cheapest price!!!
