I haven't seen the HTC one, but my fiance is up for renewal on Verizon, and she has the HTC Thunderbolt now (great when it came out, but 2.5 years is a long time in the smartphone industry). It needs a new battery, and I'm trying to talk her into the S3 or S4, but after your remarks, we'll check out the HTC One.

Face it, the World is run by Apple fan boi's these days. They accept mediocrity, because it's "Apple". I say this as both an Apple stockholder and iPhone/iPad owner (though both are company provided devices). If I had my choice, I'd be 100% android. The Android OS is a few generations ahead of iOS. Apple could be there if they wanted to, but they'd rather exert their control over the whole UX and stifle innovation in the process. Form over Function...
