This is a great use of RCs. While I'd prefer to see closer to 1:1, it's still better value than most F&B.

A few others come to mind, but, as with any open/public forum; it's probably best to not be (publicly) vocal about them.
Another good use for me has been Shell Gasoline Gift cards (2:1), but since I have to buy gas, it's like CASH for me. Also, some Shell stations give you a 10 cents/gallon discount over the CASH price--these gift cards have NO expiration date.
I remember reading your reference to the bolded phrase a year or more ago--I'm still wondering what that perk is (I have some speculations...).
PS: The problem, even with comped, F&B, is the TIP--these cannot be offset with RC's; so a $200 meal (say), @20% tip, costs me $40.
