We will arrive LAS airport at 1540, hope to leave airport at 1630 or so. Should be able to arrive at 2000?

Does GPS work throughout the whole trip? or will there be grey areas? Maybe it's better to buy a map?

Advice taken on hiking boots, we'll just buy some new sneakers.
