I was thinking that. In my initial message I posted about UA, but I looked at the map and it is only connections from Chicago. JFK to SFO is not included.
Carriers will do what is in their interests which is why each carrier is aligned with partners making connections between other airlines difficult. But in reality I don't see why Aer Lingus doesn't get access to all flights out of JetBlue's T5 for connections since it is already there.
No clue but for those who don't mind a connection flight at DUB to LON, Aer Lingus is an excellent low cost carrier to get to London and those Jetblue connection flights should do well.
