These route cuts will have a fleet impact according to
ch-aviation :
SkyWork Airlines (SX, Berne (BRN)) will return two of its three Dash 8-400s to the aircraft's lessor according to a report by Austrian Aviation Net. SkyWork had recently already announced plans to cut some frequencies in its network for the upcoming summer schedule as part of its SkyFit2013plus restructuring plan. It will continue to operate five Do328-100s and one Dash 8-400 from its Berne base.
Taking the
fleet details of skywork of Dornier with 31 seats and Dash with 72 seats, this means 25% less planes but almost 39% less seat capacity.
Not good signs...
