Did this last year from LHR-DFW, and was charged £499, W-WTP+ is around £200, recommendation would be to see if you can use miles to upgrade to WTP+ and then ask at the airport for a paid upgrade to J, remember though you have to ask, as I have never been offered at LHR, it is however advised at remote destinations coming back into LHR.
