Yes. What happens is that you call HMI to make the reservation; they will make the reservation for you at the lowest commissionable rate (there are a few rates such as government rates that aren't commissionable but generally all of the ones available to the general public are available). HMI then mails you a $50 Marriott gift certificate to use on your stay.
