Exactly. I consolidated almost 30 rebate cards using Target Amex. Went to CS counter to do it so wouldn't hold up checkout line. Then used Amazon Payments to cash out. Pretty painless. $3 well-spent IMO.
You used the Target AMEX to fund Amazon Payments? That's a pretty good idea, I hadn't thought of that. But isn't this a way to get the good ol' AMEX FR if you load $1000 and then pay $1000 in a short amount of time?
