I have measured the Wi-Fi Internet speed at atleast 15 Hilton hotels all over the USA the last two years and in 75 % the speed avareges at around 2 mb/s download and 0.5 - 1 mb/s upload, no mather what time I measure it. The other 25 % is always about 0.5 mb/s in download speed and even slower upload. I always post these speed on my Tripadvisor reviews that I for fun do after staying at a hotel. I have never come across a hotel that have faster speeds in the US. On the other hand, every time that I have complained about a slow internet at a property in my reviews on Tripadvisor, the manager have always promised to look into it.
