I went outside to the check-in counter, where an elderly gentleman on a Tango fare FOR THE NEXT DAY was trying to persuade the lone agent to pre-assign him a bulkhead for free. That took 15 minutes. I was able to check-in and keep my seat, although the agent had difficulty finding my booking. How hard does this have to be?
