I'm not asking what's wise (clearly, it's best to move the money along without much delay), I'm looking for some indication of whether there's a stated limit? I'm aware that there are things that could happen to cause your money to vanish like a fart in the wind (Vanilla Reload Network could go bankrupt; Bluebird or other portals could go bankrupt; your account for some link in your plan could be frozen or closed; you could just lose your loaded VR card; your house could burn down; your dog could eat them; somebody could steal them, etc.). Assuming none of those things happens...is there any other practical limit to how long your funds are usable on a loaded card sitting on your shelf?
If my dog ate this plastic card i would gut the mutt for miles! Lol
(I could see the view from the wing post now)

I dunno if theres time frames on these things but id say its wise to burn em in a couple days max. I do mine right away
