Thrifty reservations don't (usually) show the hourly rate online. You should be able to call Thrifty (1-800-847-4389) to get it, and of course, it will be on the rental contract.

It's typically 1/3 of the daily rate in my experience, though, not 1/5 or 1/7. Thrifty also did away with its grace period some time ago, although if you're just running a few minutes late, most return agents will give you a bit of a break.

Also, be aware that any additional options (coverage, upgrades, GPS, etc.) or flat-fee taxes charged by the day will be charged as a full additional day for any amount of overtime.

If that will cause a significant additional charge for you, the only real options are some combination of delaying your pick-up and returning early to ensure you don't go over that 24-hour threshold...or begging for mercy from the return agent or manager on duty.
