When you are done with the segments you want, call them and tell them you are throwing away the last segments. Ex-TPE TKTs usually allow stopover on the way back at HKG. All you have to pay is HK tax. This is a good deal as you can use the HKG-TPE sector to start your next ex-TPE TKT.
