Hello all - I am in the process of booking my hotel for my honeymoon. I am going with C&P in Waikiki and can't seem to decide between the Moana Surfrider and the Sheraton Waikiki. Does anybody have any suggestions on picking one over the other including any benefits given to Platinum members?

Also, do people email/call the hotel in advance to let them know you are coming and ask if platinum sweet upgrades are available? If so who do you usually contact and what do you say?

Sorry; have been platinum for 2 years now but have never traveled for pleasure...
