Not a fan of either one and outside of our home office location (where I don't have a choice) SLC is the one city I have switched to the Hyatt Place.
Brand new, Cheaper and in a good location.
If you are using Gold Passport as a secondary program I would recommend.
Sorry to go off topic as I think both are underwhelming for the price.
