Status quo for me as a NYC based GS flyer.
Upgrades are still high (90%) on non Y/B/M fares. I have a few GPU's for flights in September which are still waitlisted, so don't know if they're going to clear yet, but I expect they will closer to departure.
Most of my flights are nonstop so rarely am I dealing with connection issues.
I also tend to buy B/M fares so I get instant upgrades often.
No reason to switch to AA or DL
