I have yet to fly a Jet flight where the Business cabin wasn't over 80% full. Saying that only a few months ago I was solo on PNQ-DEL. But other then that they are always full. My experience is between the metro's.
Full with what? Were they upgrades or revenue?
There are loud noises here about inability to upgrade to business even when business cabin is almost entirely unoccupied;
  1. Going by the noises, there are many flights on which premium cabin is nearly empty.
  2. Your experience that business cabin is at least 80% full
Do you see the issue? Which of the two scenarios above is more prevalent?
If most of the flights have nearly full cabins and Jet is still not making any money, it's either bad management, or not enough revenue to meet the cost or both.
