Did you request a replacement or upgraded Amex last week?
If so, there is a good chance you will not get it.
I have an HHonors card and asked that it be switched to an HHonors Surpass card. I noticed that there was no notation on my account that I now have the Surpass card nor was I debited the $75 for it.
(I was not surprised that it had not yet arrived -- that usually takes about 2 weeks because of where I live.)
I called Amex today and was told that there was a computer glitch last week and that they lost the requests of anyone who asked to change his Amex from one type to another.
