i have had a lot of experience with sick in europe. italy is quite good. they have some form of socialized medicine, and not great pay for medics.contact the front desk. they should "know" a doctor. after he finishes for the day, he will come to your room. you can ask about cost. been a few years in italy, so i would guess over €100, but less than 200 they will give you a receipt. your ins should pay.

even if they don't go see a doctor, get some happy pills and enjoy your vacation

in italy the pharmacist has much more latitude(and much stronger meds) than in usa. if one is convenient, you can go to see one of them. they prescribe and sell cures.
