Economy Comfort - Hawaii
Two quick questions:
I'm flying SEA-HNL at the end of June, and HNL-SEA on the return. When my reservation was initially made by a third party, I was seated in row 28 or something. But, with my Alaska MVP perks I was able to move to a "preferred seat" (17D). Apparently, the aircraft now has 'Economy Comfort'. I wanted to move up one row to 16C, but Delta wants to charge me $79.
Question #1: Why would I be charged for moving from one Economy Comfort seat to another Economy Comfort seat, just one row apart? I asked a Delta rep over the phone and she was somewhat clueless.
Question #2: I flew Economy Comfort to Japan earlier this year, so I got free alcohol during my trip. I asked the Delta rep on the phone if I'd receive the same amenity on Economy Comfort to Hawaii, and she said "yes". Can anyone vouch for this, is there free booze on Economy Comfort from mainland to/from Hawaii?
Thanks! And, if anyone has Delta Sky Club access on June 28 late afternoon in SEA, lemme know.
