Be warned that I was recently denied access to the FCL at LAX when flying LAX-ORD-MUC on a First Class Award ticket. At least one of the agents will cite a policy that access is only for the gateway city (SFO in your case) and not the origination (LAX).

IFL/GFL access is an established benefit for p.s. First Class. It is yet to be seen what the lounge benefit will be once p.s. is converted to two-class service.
