It really does depend on what you're looking for. Have had more than a few lovely stays on a very high floor Rainbow Tower room.
I have to say that I still dream of that corner room, diamond head side, in the Rainbow tower. I managed to get my self into it twice, and it was spectacular - particularly when they had the fireworks.
