Anybody get miles for threatening to cancel?

Some credit card companies will give you miles if you agree to renew and pay the annual fee for another year. AOL is famous for offering free months to people who threaten to cancel

Has anyone had any experience with MCI?

I decided to terminate service with MCI after they terminated their partnership with SWA. So I did not receive any info on any "retention bonus."

FYI - if you do terminate, be sure to have them connect you with the automated cancellation system, as I have seen horror stories from people who thought their accounts were cancelled but continued to receive invoices.
