EWR-SFO on a widebody? I'd say go for it. UA hasn't flown widebodies on this route since the early 2000s. If not that then 1999. I'd take a UA 763 any day of the week over a PMCO 738.

I flew F on the ghetto bird from LAX-ORD in 2009 and thought it was comfortable enough. I think this is a term that the CO snobs came up with.
I am not sure the origin of the term, but in one of the posts above, the following link for a video on YouTube was posted:

The person shooting the video is obviously a CO passenger, and goes on and on about how dated the interior is (notwithstanding that it is fairly indistinguishable from any but the newest CO coach section interior) and especially heaps ridicule on UA for still having AirFones.

Despite all snark and snide comments, the irony is that CO still had AirFones as well on its 767's...

Oh well.
