How exciting can recipies for grilled chicken, grilled fish, salad and vegetables really be?

Hush your mouth - I can't believe you posted this.

You must be on a low-cal/low-fat diet. Despite that, a low-fat diet CAN be extremely tasty and satisfying - try to find a copy of Mediterranean Light, by Martha Rose Shulman (who devised the low-fat menu which Dean Ornish's cardiology patients followed during his studies on diet/cardiology); she grills not just chicken and fish, but rabbit, and even beef! If you like Southern Italian or Lebanese or Middle Eastern food, "chicken, grilled fish, salad and vegetables" is the way to go.
