Here is an article from the Los Angeles Times:
Unruly kids disrupt SkyWest flight from Long Beach to Portland
March 29, 2012 | 12:43 pm

Two unruly children who repeatedly refused to fasten their seatbelts during a flight from Long Beach to Portland this week were greeted by police after landing in Oregon, then allowed to continue their trip to Seattle, authorities said Thursday.

The children, ages 3 and 8, were aboard a plane operated by SkyWest Airlines, a regional carrier that serves passengers who make reservations or purchase tickets through Alaska Airlines.

Alaska officials said that during Tuesday’s flight, the children repeatedly disobeyed orders by the captain and flight attendants to fasten their seatbelts, creating a disturbance in the cabin.

After being informed about federal aviation regulations, officials said, the children and their parents were allowed to board an Alaska flight to Seattle.

The name of the family was not disclosed.
