2. Should the employer be able to change your password and take your points for personal use?

1. For airlines: it is the person traveling. For credit cards: it is the person whose program number is tied to the card; if you are using a cc provided by your employer, then the points earned might be going to them. Your employer may have a provision that does not allow you to use the points/miles for your personal use.
Regarding 2 & 3 it sounds like that is what they are doing.
