I just flew PV in January and I was not impressed. I was on the A380 and the A330. For me the seat as lightly padded and has a useless leg rest if you are over 5'5. I would have been just as happy in Y. However, if you can snag a reasonably priced W fare than you are set. AF is pretty reasonable about opening up O inventory for J class upgrades.
