Hello FT-ers,
I haven't been around here as much as I'd have liked, so I hope this hasn't been addressed somewhere else. If so, I apologize in advance.
So, I'm trying to snag some upgrade space and need some help figuring out how the CO system works. EWR-SIN, fine with going through NRT or HKG. Am even fine with going through JFK and connecting twice, but space on those flights seem particularly difficult to get.
Anyway, here's the output I get using KVS:
[KVS Availability Tool 6.9.6/Diamond - ITA: Awards-Upgrades/UA]
Code:
EWR New York Newark Liberty Intl NJ US [KEWR]
SIN Singapore Changi SG [WSSS]
Carrier Flight From Depart To Arrive A/C St Availability
--------- ------ ---- -------- ---- -------- --- -- --------------------
UA 79 EWR 11:05 NRT 13:55 +1 772 R0 I0 RN0 PN9
-> UA 881 NRT 17:55 +1 SIN 23:50 +1 744 ON0 R0 O0 I0 RN0 PN9
UA 79 EWR 11:05 NRT 13:55 +1 772 R8 I0 RN8 PN9
-> UA/NQ 9675 NRT 17:35 +1 SIN 23:45 +1 763
UA 79 EWR 11:05 NRT 13:55 +1 772 R8 I0 RN8 PN9
-> SQ 11 NRT 20:50 +1 SIN 02:55 +2 388 R4 I0
So it looks like there are 8 (!!) available upgrade seats on EWR-NRT (UA 79), but 0 for NRT-SIN (UA 881). and since 881 is RN0, EWR-NRT-SIN also becomes RN0. Is there a way for me to grab the available upgrade for EWR-NRT, and waitlist NRT-SIN?
Or is that...gone forever now too?
Thanks so much for your help!!
Cheers,
NYCSINUA
