Milwaukee Brewers Dump F9 Sponsorship, Pick Up WN

Can't say its surprising with all the cuts F9 has made, or did their deal coincidentally just expire recently? Wouldn't surprise me to see the Frontier Airlines Center in downtown be next to dawn the WN name.

Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) is proud to announce that the carrier has become the official airline sponsor of the Milwaukee Brewers. The sponsorship includes in-stadium signage, a field-level interactive fan experience, and a "How far did it fly?" in-game feature during Brewers home games.

"The People of Milwaukee are passionate about their hometown Brewers, and Southwest Airlines is passionate about Milwaukee," said Southwest Airlines Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Distribution Kevin Krone. "We're excited by all the opportunities this partnership will bring not only to our valued Customers, but to Brewers fans as well."

"We look forward to what will be a great new partnership with Southwest Airlines," said Milwaukee Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger. "Both organizations share a strong commitment to the Milwaukee market, and we're excited about the unique opportunities that this will bring to both the Brewers and our fans."
