Was check in quick and efficient? N/A, connected from TXL and checked in there.
Did you use priority security (if eligible) and if so, was it quick and efficient? See above.
Did you use the Maple Leaf lounge and if so, any feedback in regards to service, food and drinks? Senator Lounge in Frankfurt's B Terminal is excellent. A definite cut above the MLLs that I've been to.
Was priority boarding offered (if applicable to your status) and efficient? Offered, not particularly efficient; much crowding, some confusion as to who was to go where.
Onboard - J cabin:
Were the crew professional & well groomed? Yes.
If there was a delay, were you provided with timely updates? Captain announced a 20 minuted delay, but did not provide reasons; overheard SD explaining to a concerned passenger that it was due to labour action in FRA.
Was the IFE activated on the ground? Yes.
Was a pre-departure beverage offered on the ground? Yes, OJ / sparkling wine.
Did crew offer to hang your jacket? Yes.
Were newspapers & menus distributed and meal orders taken (Please specify when meal orders were taken - on the ground or in the air)? Newspapers were distributed on the ground. Meal orders taken on the ground by status.
Did crew offer a hot towel prior to the meal service? Yes.
Approximately how long after take off did it take for the first meal service to be completed? (From takeoff to all items collected) Not timed, but approximately 2 3/4 hours.
How was the quality of all the meals? Smoked duck excellent, one of my favourite things on AC. Ordered the beef tenderloin. Well done, not too tough. An excess of sause. Ice cream was rock-hard. Declined pre-arrival light meal.
Did the cabin crew continiously top up the beverage of your choice throughout the flight? if one was choosing water, perhaps - other beverages stopped between dessert and light meal. Water was, however, continuously topped up.
Post departure
If you have checked baggage, did it arrive within reasonable period of time? Yery speedy.
Overall experience/any other comments:
Service better than on the flight over.
No 110V power in at least two J seats. USB power worked, but I can't run a laptop on that.
I thought that I may have seen
jlsi984 in the SEN lounge at FRA and later in the boarding line; but, as we've never met (recognised him, if it was him, from a picture in the Globe & Mail) did not try and introduce myself.
