Plenty of hotels near LM B, do yourself a favor and split up.

Are you familiar with European twin beds/rollaway beds? And you can see two people bunking in one of those???
You do make a valid point although I have stayed in a twin bed with my other half plenty of times. Isn't a twin basically two double beds?
I think I will ask the Hotel if they can just charge us for the extra 4th person as we would not like to split for just a few hours at night.
