A single data point here. I came through SMF today and they seemed particularly concerned about the MMW line backing up. For the brief time I was there, as long as there were two people waiting, everyone else got the WTMD, me included.
It seemed a reasonable and efficient way to operate. Did I just say that about the TSA? It was early. I must have been dreaming.
