Well, I have spent the last 36+ hours in the Maldives and have completely forgotten about the hell I went through to get here. That is, until I logged into FT and read my diatribe!!
Truly a paradise here, but I am cringing at thought of what my bill will look like when I checkout tomorrow. I wandered into a restaurant last night and it ended up being an Indian buffet. Food was great, but somewhat surprised with the $372 bill for 2, we didn't even have any alcohol.
