That's the reason I bought an aircard in the first place. Really bad throughput and hotel blocking of VPN traffic. So bad that I couldn't even hold a connection to office webmail. Add in a "help desk" person that told me I needed to turn off my software firewall, and I headed over to the Sprint store the next morning.

Though I use an ATT hotspot now, I've never looked back.
