I bought a RunCore ssd for my wife's MacBook Air (rev a). Boy did it speed things up! It felt like a whole new computer. Bought it at mydigitaldiscount.com. The kit came with a usb enclosure to clone the original drive, which i then replaced with the new drive.
I agree with checking out ifixit.com for instructions. Very helpful site..
