How can I book on this flight from Bangkok as clearly seats are available?
I would say that clearly that they are not

EK is making a level of availability for those flying the SYD-BKK route and the availbility for BKK-DXB has been exhausted. Unless EK decides to make some more availability on the BKK-DXB sector, then there isn't much you can do other than book another flight

There are 3 other EK flights from BKK-DXB including the EK385 which is about an hour earlier than EK419 which is operated using an A380 aeroplane; perhaps look for availability there or the more civilised timed flights 375 and 373
