If possible I'd personally go for LHR-JFK outbound; to use the lounges and facilities at LHR and then JFK-LCY homeward.
This way you get to avoid the SNN stop on the way home and still try both services. You'll manage to scoop some F tier points on the BabyBus on the way home too.
