I will arrive in May with Air France from Montreal with an A380 at 8:30 in the morning. Arrival will be in T2E.
Now I'm looking for a connection flight with Lufthansa to Munich that will leave in T1. This flight will be on a seperate booking, so I have to be save to get the connection flight.
I have two option for my connection flight I can book:
11:10 => 2h40min connection time
13:05 => 4h35min connection time
Are 2:40h for this connection enough? This means, deboarding of an A380 (I fly economy), immigration, baggege claim (don't know if I can check through), transfer to T1, checkin LH, security check. Are 2h40m without baggege reclaim and checkin possible?
Thanks for your help!
Welcome to FT and happy new year !
2h40 is feasible but very tight and I would not risk it if I were you. I would rather connect to AF to MUC if you have to fly on separate tickets. You will be already checked-in in YUL and, in case of misconnection if the YUL flight is late, AF will be more comprehensive to help you than LH.
