It seems to me there is a significant contrast between the reactions here to a stereotypical wind-up post (mods deal with it, others ignore it) and what you would see on the BA board (a spiral of indignant abuse). And it does seem that everyone is free to have their say, even if their view doesn't coincide with the board norm, free of flames. I understand what is being said about cultural difference. But not everyone is the same on BA and IMHO change is now inevitable.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I'll make you welcome in the land of warm white wine. Now, excuse me, I have to go and wave my willy around.
PS - there is a social in March. There may be champagne, but I hope not. I am sure you wold be welcome and it would be good to put faces to names.
