I took multiple ( ~7 this year ) India -US and Europe J class flights this year and felt that it got worse every time.
1. Food and Service Quality is declining.
2. Poor Service, not responding to requests in a reasonable amount of time.. FA's dont seem to care when you ask for something. They come back after 30 minutes and say oops I forgot.. this happened multiple times
3. Too many Op Ups and J crew is unable to handle it .. I thought they would be trained to handle a full flight, but its been a consistent "bad service" experience when its a full J cabin due to excessive Op Ups and US segments seem to be overbooked all the time.
4. Dubai Business Lounge.. Fix the passenger to rest room ratio. Adding additional chairs in all corners of the lounge doest mean that you are ready to handle excess capacity.
I have 10 J trips planned for 2012 .. I cannot drop EK completely as they have the best connections to HYD, but am certainly planning to use an alternate airline for 50% of the travel.
