Delta/Coke Napkins - Strong VOC odor!
Hello -
I have been complaining to every FA recently - the relatively new Delta/Coca-Cola napkins used in flight have about 1/3 of their surface printed in red - patterns which also release a very strong odor - typical for VOC (volatile organic compounds).
I am not sure this has been addressed, but some of these VOC's are known as cancer-causing agents. I would not speculate further at this point, until I hear from other frequent flyers, or more documented viewpoints.
