Recent 1 night stay.
Hotel is less than 5 minutes from YVR on the main road from the airport.
No problem checking in around 1pm - Good Diamond recognition, received water and cookies - no mention of an upgrade, but was given a corner room at the back of the building (away from the busy main road) with a partial view of the airport. Room was spacious and in good condition.
There was limited parking in the hotel grounds and a further fenced lot on some ground at the back of the building.
Breakfast was standard HI fare in the lobby area - there was a notice stating that the lobby area is getting upgraded in the near future.
There were several chain and local restaurants / fast foods nearby as well as some shops and a CostCo.
Overall, a good value older style HI with very good service.
