Depends on how peeved they are. I'm guessing most FOs on domestic trips aren't checking 2 bags/person.

It then becomes the question of do the other benefits of flying Delta outweigh the option of Southwest. Does having the ability to do SDC for $50 make sense, or is paying the fare difference on WN (which might be $200) to take that earlier flight home make sense. Assigned seats vs. cattle call. Chance at an upgrade (albeit around 30%, but varies on time/route/etc.) vs. guaranteed coach seat.

It might drive some people to WN in Atlanta, but there are things about WN (that FL is losing) that might drive those folks back to Delta.
