I'm planning a trip with family to Santo Domingo and Bayahibe (no all inclusives at all). I reserved a rental car at the airport. My recollection from living there over 25 years ago was that road signs were inconsistent and directions hard to come by. Has that gotten any better? Any advice (and any experience with a GPS)?
