I notice that a flight in First when booking via AA using miles MIA-DPS is 135,000k miles; however, if I choose to book via the Avios/BA website using points, 300k miles are needed. I thought the OneWorld redemption plan/chart was universal in its reward values.

I dont believe you can transfer what used to be called BA Miles, but which are now Avios points, to the AA programme. You can, however, use Avios points to book AA routes on AA metal. To do this, select the route you require on ba.com, and then click the red button labelled 'Include Partners' when the search engine returns no flights for your selected route.
