I apologize if I missed this, but what is new redemption level for CX F from Westcoast USA to HKG/BKK?
Today I just redeemed 100K miles for 2 Y tickets for two friends on CX - HKG-JFK-YVR-HKG.
The agent told me about the change on 11/16. I asked him how many miles would be needed for the same routing after 11/16. He put me on hold to check his yet-to-be-announced chart that is distance-based. He came back and told me it would be 200K. A 100% increase. No doubt I issued the tix right away.
He said that any change to these tickets issued before 11/16 will NOT affect the mileage needed. If I cancelled the tix and re-issued a new one, then it would follow the new mileage requirement.
Not sure about F, but I hope this will shred some light.
