The exit row on a CRJ, like most aircraft, is over the wing so most of your limited view will be of painted aluminum. I like rows 2 and 3 and find the aisle actually gets a better view than the window because of the low placement of the windows.
Try to get a row to yourself for the best view. I unwillingly got moved to the last row and got some good views but this is more uncomfortable than the rest of the plane. For the 45 minutes you will be in the air it will be tolerable.
