Seems like AA typically has better availability to a lot of my TATL and TPAC destinations. (Obviously TPAC isn't really apples-to-apples with BA since they're going opposite directions.)

I just booked my 2-for-1 for travel in Sept-Oct 2012. Availability was already tight: I was happy I found exactly one date pair available that worked for me and it appears I got the last (only?) two F award seats on a couple of my segments.

No complaints from me since I found what I needed...but it wasn't exactly wide open and business class wasn't an option at all: only F.
